Our mission is to empower advertisers and brands to unlock the full potential of these platforms' advertising capabilities. By fostering long-lasting partnerships, we create limitless opportunities for people and businesses to advertise effectively at both local and global levels.

At Aleph, our people are our greatest asset, and HR is central to our business success. We are looking for a hands-on, strategic HR Business Partner (HRBP) to lead HR initiatives across our APAC region from our Mumbai office.
What You Will Do

Serve as a trusted partner to regional leaders

  • Act as the trusted, primary HR advisor and coach for managers and senior leaders in your region on a wide range of topics, including team effectiveness, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Translate the regional business agenda into actionable people priorities, aligned with our global HR strategy.
  • Provide expert guidance on local labour laws and cultural nuances so that HR practices are compliant and effective across all markets in your scope, in partnership with the Global Labour Law Manager.
  • Activate and localise global HR initiatives

    • Lead the rollout and implementation of global programmes in areas such as employee engagement, performance management, and well-being.
    • Gather feedback from the region to help improve and iterate on global tools and strategies, ensuring they are fit for purpose.
    • Where region-specific needs arise, take the lead on designing and executing local initiatives from start to finish, in partnership with the appropriate Centre of Excellence (CoE) team.
    • Champion culture and employee experience

      • Act as a culture enabler, coaching managers on how to embody Aleph’s values (Solutions-Driven, Constantly Evolving, One Team) in their daily leadership.
      • Support the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring a positive and consistent experience from onboarding to offboarding.
      • Drive a proactive retention strategy for your region using data, stay interviews and exit interviews, and partner with managers on targeted action plans.
      • Drive talent and performance excellence

        • Coach managers on navigating performance improvement plans (PIPs) and on holding effective performance and development conversations.
        • Partner with Talent Acquisition and People Services Delivery to support workforce planning and key hires within the region.
        • Support employer branding initiatives to position Aleph as a top employer in your markets.
        • Collaborate with our Centres of Excellence (CoEs) to bring expertise in rewards, talent, and people services to your business stakeholders.
        • Collaborate with global and regional Finance on the annual budget process and the quarterly Rolling Forecast.
        • Maintain operational excellence

          • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of employee data in the HRIS (meHRaki, powered by Workday) for your region.
          • Oversee key HR administrative processes, such as Job Requisitions, Creating Positions and Terminations, ensuring they are efficient, compliant, and deliver a seamless experience for employees and managers.
          • Partner with the global HRBP when necessary.
What We Are Looking For
  • Proven experience: Several years of HR experience in a similar role (for example HR Manager, HR Business Partner or People Partner), preferably with responsibility for multiple countries in a fast-paced, international environment.
  • Regional expertise: Strong knowledge of labour and social security laws in key markets (for example, India’s Labour Codes).
  • Pragmatic and proactive: A hands-on, execution-focused mindset and the initiative to solve problems. You are comfortable managing both strategic and operational tasks.
  • Strong communicator and partner: You build trust quickly and act as an effective sparring partner for managers and leaders. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Coaching mindset: A passion for developing leaders and helping people grow.
  • Cultural adaptability: High cross-cultural sensitivity and the ability to adapt your approach to different markets and audiences.
  • Collaborative team player: A highly collaborative style and a team-oriented mindset, ready to work closely with a dynamic, cross-cultural HR team.
Why Join Aleph
  • Impact: Be the primary HR advisor to regional leaders in a business that connects major global platforms with advertisers and consumers across 120+ markets, and turn the regional business agenda into real people priorities.
  • Growth: Work alongside global Centres of Excellence in rewards, talent and people services, lead local initiatives from design to delivery, and gain hands-on exposure to the budget and Rolling Forecast process with Finance.
  • Team culture: Join a collaborative, cross-cultural HR team built around three values: Solutions-Driven, Constantly Evolving and One Team.
