Location: Vienna, Austria, Hybrid (office days: Mon, Wed, Fri / home office: Tue, Thu)

Compensation: 55,000 - 67,000 + bonus and equity
*compensation dependent on related experience level

As we grow globally, we’re seeking a Vienna-based Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist to support our expanding R&D team by identifying, screening, and delivering top-tier engineering talent.

You are a proven high-performer who consistently delivers results in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. You are currently located in Vienna or able to relocate quickly. Unfortunately, we are unable to support non-EU citizens for the position at this time.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers to gain a deep understanding of role requirements and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Independently source top talent through LinkedIn Recruiter, local and international job boards, networking, and targeted cold outreach.
  • Conduct structured screening interviews to evaluate candidates’ technical skills and cultural alignment with our mission.
  • Deliver curated candidate shortlists, accompanied by comprehensive insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Manage interview scheduling and logistics in coordination with internal teams.
  • Provide valuable market intelligence and contribute to sourcing strategy as a trusted strategic partner.
  • Work seamlessly with the People Operations and Talent Acquisition teams to ensure a smooth recruitment process

What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • 3+ years of experience in technical recruitment, preferably within R&D, engineering, or high-growth technology sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and consistently deliver results in fast-paced environments characterized by tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
  • Skilled in leveraging strong communication abilities to proactively engage candidates through cold calling, relationship building, and diligent follow-up.
  • Expertise in advanced sourcing techniques, including Boolean searches, LinkedIn networking, and headhunting, complemented by effective screening and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Exceptional command of written and spoken English.
  • Proficient with applicant tracking systems (notably Greenhouse) and productivity tools such as Google Workspace.

Preferred:

  • Experience recruiting for software engineering, AI or QA roles.
  • Background in working with European or Austrian talent markets.
  • Prior startup or scale-up recruiting experience.
