Position Summary

LiquidStack is a global leader in advanced liquid cooling solutions supporting high-performance computing and AI-driven data center environments. We are seeking a Quality Engineer – Manufacturing to support production quality systems, inspection processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.

This hands-on role supports manufacturing quality, supplier defect tracking, and new product introduction activities. The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of quality experience in a manufacturing or electro-mechanical assembly environment and demonstrates LiquidStack’s core behaviors: Flexible, Collaborative, Driven, Agile, Customer-Centric, and Attentive.

Key Responsibilities

Inspection & Manufacturing Quality Ownership

  • Own and execute incoming, in-process, and final inspection processes.
  • Maintain inspection checklists, documentation, and quality records.
  • Support first-pass yield improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure product labeling and release documentation meet quality standards.

Root Cause & Corrective Action Support

  • Support root cause investigations using 5-Why, Fishbone, and 8D methodologies.
  • Assist in documenting corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Verify effectiveness of implemented corrective actions.

Supplier Quality Tracking

  • Track and document incoming supplier defects.
  • Communicate quality concerns with Supply Chain and Engineering.
  • Support supplier corrective action follow-up.

New Product Introduction (NPI) Participation

  • Participate in NPI builds and validation activities.
  • Support development of inspection plans and documentation updates.

Quality Systems & Compliance

  • Maintain calibration tracking system.
  • Support ISO 9001:2015 compliance.
  • Assist with audit preparation and documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Quality Engineering required.
  • 3–5 years of quality experience in manufacturing or electro-mechanical assembly.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015.
  • Experience supporting root cause investigations.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings.
  • Proficiency in Excel.

 


Preferred Qualifications

  • ASQ Certification (CQE, CQA, Green Belt, etc.) preferred.
  • Experience with SPC, MSA, control plans, PFMEA, and inspection planning.
  • Prior experience in electro-mechanical assembly, capital equipment manufacturing, or data center/thermal systems environments.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems and document control workflows.

Work Environment

  • Primarily based on manufacturing floor 
  • Must follow all plant safety requirements and use PPE where required.
  • May require occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • May require standing/walking for extended periods
