Job description

About Trellis

Trellis is rewriting the insurance experience from the inside out. We’re the tech company behind Savvy, our licensed insurance agency, and we’re bringing clarity and ease to a space known for… the opposite. With powerful tools, clean design, and a customer-first mindset, we’re making insurance shopping refreshingly effortless.

We’re a profitable, fast-growing Series A startup backed by General Catalyst, QED, NYCA, and Amex Ventures. As a remote-first team, we move quickly, experiment boldly, and build with intention.

If you’re craving meaningful impact, energized by ambiguity, and are ready to build alongside exceptional teammates, you’re going to love doing your best work at Trellis.

About the Role

We’re building a quality program that helps agents and managers improve performance, deliver better customer experiences, and ensure accurate, compliant insurance business.

As our Quality Lead, you’ll turn AI-powered QA insights into actionable coaching, training, and process improvements. You’ll identify trends and risks across Sales and Service, drive measurable improvements, and help scale our quality program alongside our growing Sales organization.

You’ll report to the Director of Quality & Compliance and partner closely with Sales, Service, Training, Operations, Product, and Technology.

What You'll Own

1. Turn quality data into action

  • Analyze AI-powered Sales and Service interactions to identify trends, risks, and performance gaps.

  • Translate findings into clear recommendations and improve quality reporting and scorecards.

2. Drive quality improvements

  • Reduce application errors and improve data accuracy across insurance systems.

  • Identify and address rating integrity issues and partner with leaders on measurable improvement plans.

3. Enable agents and managers

  • Provide managers with insights, tools, and coaching resources to improve quality.

  • Build understanding, accountability, and adoption of quality standards across frontline teams.

4. Improve Sales & Service effectiveness

  • Identify opportunities to improve compliant selling, application accuracy, service quality, and customer experience.

  • Turn quality insights into improvements across training, workflows, tools, and processes.

About You

  • 2+ years of experience in QA, sales enablement, compliance, training, or related roles, with hands-on P&C insurance experience

  • Strong understanding of application accuracy, underwriting, and quality standards, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights

  • Proven coaching, influencing, and cross-functional collaboration skills

  • Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment

  • Familiarity with AI-powered QA tools and the importance of human judgment in quality decisions

Why Trellis? Because you deserve a career that’s exciting, meaningful, and surrounded by people who lift you up.
