Position Overview

The Project Coordinator is responsible for planning, tracking, and managing customer projects whilst providing administrative and coordination support to the Project Delivery team on larger projects. This role serves as the main point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle, driving projects to success through clear expectation and milestone setting, task and resource management, and status updates.

The Project Coordinator manages smaller, less complex projects including new customer implementations and existing customer work. Coordinators may also assist Project Delivery Leads on larger projects. This role provides critical administrative support to ensure efficient PMO operation and seamless coordination across all projects.

Day to Day Responsibilities

Project Management & Delivery

Investigate customer project needs by working with sales, account managers, and consultants to develop a full understanding of the customer’s needs, the project success criteria and technical requirements.

Create project plans designed to meet critical path and customer timeframes; utilise project charters, RAID Logs, and business requirement documents.

Lead projects by assigning tasks to Engineers, liaising with the client throughout the lifetime of the project and communicating project progress and any blockers to customers through status update meetings.

Keep project resources on task, maintain project plan data, drive projects to completion, and activate Monthly Recurring Revenue

Create clear, digestible project plans for both technical and non-technical client staff.

Transition clients on and off Thrive managed services.

Administrative Support for PM Team

Support Project Managers in setting up project structures using PMO methodology and maintain throughout the project lifecycle

Ensure all project related processes are adhered to, internal system data is processed, and cost tracking reports are maintained

Provide coordination support on multiple projects as required

Speak confidently with customers via phone/video conference to answer queries and resolve issues

Produce accurate, reliable, and timely reporting

Support the wider project team in day-to-day duties as required

Work with 3rd party partners and OEMs

Requirements

  • Skilled in creating timelines, managing project plans, and keeping all parties on task
  • Strong verbal and written communication, conflict resolution, and teamwork skills
  • Strong organisational skills with ability to multitask and prioritise
  • Understanding of cloud computing, networking, cyber security, and disaster recovery concepts
  • Familiarity with Thrive technologies including:
    • Office 365
    • Microsoft Server OS
    • Private Cloud
    • Public Cloud (Azure)
    • Networking (Firewalls, Switching, Access Points)
    • Disaster Recovery
    • Backup technology

Desirable

  • Project management foundation certification (PMP, CAPM, Prince2, etc.)
  • Experience using ServiceNow or other project management software
  • Awareness of ITIL methodology and change management processes
