Job description

Purpose of Position

  • CASETiFY is seeking a Product Specialist / Assistant Product Manager to join our global Product Development team. Reporting to the Head of Product Development, you will be responsible for growing their respective product category and collection businesses by collaborating with a cross-functional product-creation team, gathering, analyzing, and presenting consumer and market insights, and ensuring competitive positioning. You will support daily product development tasks from early concept to market delivery. You will operate at the intersection of strategic conception, product collection, merchandising, design, technical feasibility, and business and market objectives. Your key responsibilities include expertise in consumer and market trends, global line planning, and profound product knowledge; execution of product milestone meetings; monitoring sales performance, IMU product margins, and SKU efficiency to deliver high-impact analytics for executive decision-making. 


Job Descriptions


Product Strategy and Planning:

    • Conducting market research and competitive analysis to understand market trends and opportunities to develop their product line and overall business.
    • Assisting leadership in defining the product collection roadmap and in global vs. regional style management dictates the lifecycle management for the assigned product line.
    • Utilizing provided sales forecasts to define SKU projections by channel/region/season in the achievement of overall business objectives.
    • Provide seasonal line architecture and seasonal briefs to product designers & developers.

Line Management and Merchandising:

    • Optimizing the product assortment and ensuring an appropriate balance of core, seasonal, and innovation SKUs.
    • Analyzing sales data, trends, and consumer insights to inform line planning.
    • Determining product pricing and placement within the retail/digital channels.
    • Aligning merchandising strategies with broader brand and channel initiatives.

Financial and Operations Management:

    • Monitoring sales performance, IMU product margins, and SKU efficiency to deliver high-impact analytics for executive decision-making.
    • Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency across the product line and developing lines within the product development costing targets.
    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address operational challenges.

Cross-functional Collaboration & Communication:

    • Foster strong relationships and collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring clarity of product requirements, timelines, and objectives.
    • Proactively engage with design, marketing, sales, operations, and finance teams to align on product strategies, go-to-market plans, and performance targets.
    • Provide consumer insights, category data, and financial projections to inform decision-making across the organization.
    • Foster a spirit of partnership and shared accountability to drive execution excellence.

Requirement

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a product-related role.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Proven track record of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and aligning product strategies with business objectives.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies, product development processes, and project management tools.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders around category-specific priorities.
