What You'll Be Doing

Growth & Lifecycle

You'll design and execute acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization strategies using data and automation as your main levers. That means building and optimizing lifecycle flows with tools like Iterable — creating journeys that actually move people. You'll identify funnel bottlenecks, run fast experiments to validate hypotheses, and work closely with product and data teams to turn the right product moments into relevant, timely communication.

AI as an Operational Superpower

You use generative AI and automation to scale ideas that would otherwise require a full team. You build prompts, pipelines, and lightweight agents that speed up content production, personalization, and data analysis. You bring new AI use cases into the marketing workflow and make them part of the team's culture — not just your own toolkit. You're comfortable reading integrations and APIs well enough to build solutions without being 100% dependent on engineering.

Product Positioning & Narrative

You translate complex features into simple, emotionally resonant messages. You build the launch playbook for new capabilities — from naming to channel communication. You monitor competition, fintech market trends, and user behavior to continuously sharpen positioning. And you act as the user's voice inside the product team, making sure what gets built is also what the market wants to hear.

Independent Execution

You have real autonomy to take ideas from zero to live — without waiting for approval on every detail. You build processes, templates, and playbooks that scale what works. You collaborate with cross-functional teams — product, engineering, data, design — with clear, direct communication.

Who You Are & What You Need

You're naturally curious and learn new things before being asked to. You think in systems — a campaign isn't an email, it's a full flow with logic and downstream consequences. You're comfortable reading technical documentation, understanding APIs, and talking to engineers without getting lost. You have strong opinions about the product you work on and know how to communicate them with clarity and respect. Innovation for you isn't a slide deck word — it's an idea you already tested last week. You don't wait for the perfect environment to act — you create structure where there is none. You lead by example and by conviction, influencing decisions and moving things forward without needing a title to do it.

On the experience side, you bring background in growth or product marketing at a tech company or fintech, hands-on mastery of marketing automation tools (you build the flows, not just run them), and real fluency with generative AI in your daily work. You define metrics before you execute, write well across formats, and ship without hand-holding. Familiarity with no-code tools like n8n or Make, SQL, growth frameworks like AARRR or PLG, and structured experimentation are strong pluses.
