Job Description

Company Description

Healthcare providers spend roughly $20B annually on premiums for medical professional liability  (“MPL”) insurance, $7B of which is spent by physicians. Primarily selling through brokers, insurance  carriers today often operate at an underwriting loss and employ outdated underwriting processes. The  current environment favors the entry of a new model featuring modern, data-driven underwriting with a  more efficient sales model targeting the best risks.

Indigo Technologies, backed by leading investors Rubicon Founders and Oak HC/FT, aims to address this issue by utilizing alternative data and artificial intelligence to more accurately price medical malpractice insurance. By offering potential cost savings, Indigo Technologies will enable providers to reallocate resources to invest more directly in patient care. We at Indigo are committed to creating enduring value by making a measurable impact on the healthcare industry.

Job Description

We're looking for a sharp, execution-focused Product Manager to join our team and report directly to our Staff PM. You have 3-7 years of Product experience and know how to move fast, think in systems, and build products users enjoy. You're not waiting for AI to become relevant to your work because you're already using it to think better, ship faster, and raise the bar.

What You'll Do

  • Own core product development processes end-to-end: scope, prioritize, ship, iterate, while raising the quality bar across the org
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to drive an entrepreneurial culture grounded in transparency, rigor, and accountability
  • Help define and evangelize the product vision as Indigo scales rapidly
  • Build and maintain roadmaps, feature specs, and launch plans that continuously sharpen the experience for users and underwriters alike
  • Bring structure to ambiguity. Distill high level business goals into clear, actionable product bets
  • Leverage AI tools actively in your workflow: research, synthesis, prototyping, documentation. Not as novelty, but as leverage

What You Bring

  • 3-7 years in product management, including at least one 0-to-1 build you're proud of
  • A track record of owning outcomes, not just outputs. You set the bar high for yourself and hold yourself to it
  • Fluency with AI-powered tools (LLMs, copilots, automation) and an instinct for where they create real product value
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication. You can align a room or write a crisp PRD without hand-holding
  • Highly analytical with a knack for telling stories with data. You use numbers to build conviction and drive alignment, not just to report status
  • Strong cross-functional instincts. You know how to lead through influence, not authority
  • A bias for action. You iterate quickly, learn faster, and don't wait for perfect
  • Bachelor's degree required; technical or software background is a plus

Smart, detail-oriented, mission-driven, entrepreneurial and operates with urgency
