Salary: £60,941–£71,520 per annum + excellent benefits

Pulse are recruiting for a passionate and experienced Psychologist to join a specialist CAMHS team. This is a permanent, full or part-time opportunity offering a competitive salary, plus a sector-leading benefits package. The service is an independent specialist day school under the local authority of Stockton-on-Tees, recently rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, and is recognised as one of the leading SEMH provisions in the North East.

As part of a multi-disciplinary clinical team, you’ll be embedded within a therapeutic learning environment, supporting children and young people with complex needs including developmental trauma, neurodevelopmental conditions, and special educational needs.

Responsibilities

As a Psychologist you will:

  • Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualised formulations and interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with education and residential teams to create therapeutic environments.
  • Deliver consultation, training, and workshops to staff to enhance clinical understanding.
  • Support the emotional wellbeing and development of children and young people with SEMH needs.
  • Be a visible and proactive presence across the school, contributing to a joined-up model of care.

Qualifications and Experience

We welcome applications from candidates who:

  • Are HCPC-registered Clinical, Educational, Forensic or Counselling Psychologists
  • Have experience working with children and young people with complex needs
  • Can assess, formulate and deliver therapeutic interventions
  • Are confident in providing clinical guidance and training to teams
  • Are organised, proactive and committed to achieving the best outcomes
