We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Payment Operations Manager to help lead our payment operations team.

Position Overview:

The Payment Operations team is responsible for efficiently, securely, and accurately monitoring and supporting the execution of financial transactions on the Forward platform.

As the Payment Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our payment processing operations. You will be responsible for managing a team of payment specialists, ensuring smooth and accurate payment transactions, and implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and lead a team of payment operations specialists ensuring they are motivated, well-trained, and efficient in their roles.

Payment Processing: Oversee the end-to-end payment processing cycle, including payment reconciliation, fraud prevention, chargebacks, and refunds.

Operational Efficiency: Continuously evaluate and improve payment processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer experience.

Account Onboarding: Work with clients to ensure a smooth onboarding experience while mitigating the potential for fraud.

Reporting and Analysis: Generate and analyze payment processing reports to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.

Risk Management: Implement strategies to mitigate payment-related risks, including fraud prevention and security measures.

Client Support: Collaborate with client support teams to address payment-related inquiries and issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in payment operations, with a proven track record of managing payment processing systems.
  • Strong knowledge of payment industry regulations, compliance, and security standards.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a strong commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
