Location: Morden, Surrey (School‑Based, Multi‑Site)

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Ongoing

Working Pattern: 4 days per week (7.5 hours per day + 30‑minute break)

Job Overview

Pulse is seeking an experienced Band 6 Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist to provide specialist support across two school sites in Morden, Surrey. This role involves working with children with a range of communication needs and disabilities, delivering both dysphagia and early‑years communication interventions within a school environment.

You will complete independent assessments, contribute to EHCP processes, and support children with complex communication profiles, including those using AAC and communication devices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete independent dysphagia assessments for children within a school setting
  • Conduct early‑years communication assessments and deliver targeted provision
  • Lead and contribute to EHCP reviews
  • Provide intervention for children with a range of communication needs and disabilities
  • Support pupils using communication aids and devices, particularly in early years
  • Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation

Qualifications & Experience

  • HCPC‑registered Speech & Language Therapist
  • Paediatric dysphagia training/experience (essential)
  • Experience with AAC/communication aids, especially early years
  • Experience working with children with disabilities
  • Confident working independently across school environments
