Job Overview

We are currently seeking two experienced and motivated Paediatric Community Speech and Language Therapists (SALT) to join a community service across the West Midlands. This role involves working with children of all ages in a range of community settings, providing assessment and intervention for speech, language, and communication needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for Band 6 or Band 7 therapists who are confident working across varied paediatric caseloads. Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:
• Assess, diagnose, and manage children with speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN) across a range of ages and settings.
• Deliver evidence-based, individualised and group interventions in community environments such as homes, schools, and clinics.
• Manage a varied caseload, prioritising clinical need effectively and independently.
• Work closely with families, carers, education staff, and multidisciplinary teams to support holistic care.
• Provide training and guidance to parents, carers, and school staff to support communication development.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in line with professional and organisational standards.

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this role, you must have:
• A recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent).
• HCPC registration and membership (or eligibility) with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).
• Experience working with paediatric caseloads in community settings.
• Strong clinical knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders in children.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
