ABOUT THE ROLE
Manufacturing Trainers at Bright Machines are responsible for delivering structured, hands-on training to manufacturing associates, technicians, and leads in a high-tech production environment. This role ensures employees are trained, certified, and compliant with operational, quality, and safety standards.
This position reports directly to the Training Manager and focuses on training delivery, coaching, skills verification, and production floor support.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Deliver instructor-led and hands-on training to manufacturing personnel on processes, equipment operation, quality standards, and safety protocolsFacilitate onboarding training for new hires, ensuring timely certification and readiness for productionEvaluate trainee performance through observation, assessments, and skills verificationProvide real-time coaching and reinforcement on the production floorEnsure adherence to SOPs, work instructions, and EHS requirementsMaintain accurate training records and certification documentationPartner with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to identify skills gaps and support retraining effortsSupport cross-training initiatives to increase workforce flexibilityPromote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or industrial environmentPrevious experience delivering training or mentoring employees in a production setting preferredStrong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and safety standardsAbility to communicate technical information clearly and effectivelyComfortable facilitating small group training sessionsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailProficiency with basic computer systems and training documentation tools
