Treasury Manager

About the Role

The Treasury Manager role is an integral part of the Treasury team, responsible for leading capital deployment, liquidity management, and facility execution. While primary ownership will focus on Pagaya’s Auto asset class, the role will also gain exposure to Personal Loans (PL) and Point-of-Sale (POS) . This position manages liquidity, funding operations, and allocations across the firm’s full ecosystem of investment vehicles—including Asset-Backed Securitizations (ABS), Forward Flow agreements, credit facilities, and Investment Funds.

The Treasury Manager will lead capital allocations, support the closing of new credit facilities and forward flow deals and own liquidity strategy. The candidate should be comfortable making decisions, voicing strategic opinions, and managing time-sensitive objectives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

This position involves extensive cross-functional collaboration with Capital Markets, Reporting, Strategic Finance, Legal, and external partners, offering high visibility and direct exposure to senior and executive leadership. The role represents a strong opportunity to take end-to-end ownership of a primary asset class and grow alongside a rapidly expanding financial technology company.

Responsibilities

Facility Execution, ABS & Fund Deployment

  • Deal Closing & Execution: Partner with Capital Markets, Legal, and Finance to support the operational setup and closing of new credit facilities, ABS transactions, and forward flow deals within the Auto asset class.
  • Capital Allocation & Deployment: Manage day-to-day capital deployment and funding flows across Investment Funds, ABS trusts, and forward flow programs to optimize liquidity, leverage, and collateral allocations.
  • Concentration Limits & Eligibility: Monitor and enforce portfolio concentration limits, asset eligibility criteria, and borrowing base covenants across all credit facilities, ABS trusts, and fund vehicles prior to and following capital deployment.
  • Facility Management: Oversee ongoing credit facility operations, including borrowing base calculations, draw requests, paydowns, compliance reporting, and indenture covenant tracking.

Liquidity Management & Financial Modeling

  • Liquidity & Cash Positioning: Direct daily liquidity positioning, short- and long-term cash forecasting, and capital planning across investment funds and SPVs.
  • Forecasting Models: Develop and refine predictive cash flow and liquidity models; analyze variance drivers and report actionable insights to leadership.

Data Analytics, Reconciliations & Operations

  • Large Dataset Reconciliations: Perform daily and monthly reconciliations of complex cash flows, purchase price adjustments, servicing feeds, and funding files, leveraging advanced data tools to process large-scale transaction datasets.
  • External Ecosystem Management: Interface with key external stakeholders—including servicers, originators, custodians, trustees, and lenders—to oversee settlement workflows.
  • Process Scaling: Enhance internal controls, build robust operating procedures, and design automated workflows to scale treasury infrastructure as portfolio volume grows.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in Treasury or Structured Finance experience with direct exposure to ABS, CLOs or RMBS.
  • Data & Technical Capabilities:
    • Proven experience analyzing and reconciling large datasets.
    • SQL proficiency is required.
    • Advanced Excel capabilities (financial modeling, dynamic data manipulation).
    • Python experience is preferred.
  • Document Proficiency: Ability to read, interpret, and operationalize credit agreements, trust indentures, and transaction documents.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative field.
