Job Title: Specialist Audiologist
Banding: Band 6/7 (dependent on experience)
Location: Grimsby (Hospital Main Site & GP Centres)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing
Hourly Rate: £25-26 for weekdays (based on experience), uplifts for weekends
Working Hours: Monday to Sunday clinics, 08:00–18:00 (flexible rota)

 

Job Overview

Pulse is currently seeking an experienced Audiologist to support NHS audiology services in Grimsby. This role offers a varied caseload across both hospital and community settings, including direct referrals, ENT clinics, and hearing aid services.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality diagnostic and rehabilitation services, supporting patients through their full audiology care pathway.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver audiology services including first fittings, reassessments, and repairs.
  • Support ENT clinics and direct referral pathways.
  • Conduct hearing assessments and manage patient care plans.
  • Use clinical systems such as Auditbase, Otosuite, and Target.
  • Work flexibly across hospital and GP community locations.

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Audiology or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous NHS audiology experience essential.
  • Competence in hearing aid fitting, reassessment, and repairs.
  • Experience using systems such as Auditbase, Otosuite, and Target (desirable).
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
