About the role:
We’re looking for a technical, data-driven, and customer-obsessed Lifecycle Marketing Manager / Email Operations Manager to own the end-to-end execution of our email and SMS campaigns. In this role, you’ll be responsible for coding, segmentation, personalization (using Liquid logic), campaign setup, deployment, troubleshooting, and performance tracking across both ad-hoc and automated lifecycle campaigns. Your work will directly impact member enrollment and engagement, driving them to schedule and complete registered dietician appointments.

Reporting to the Director of Lifecycle Marketing, you’ll play a critical role in executing campaigns while collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Engineering, Clinical Operations, Data, Clinical Intelligence, and Client Development Executive teams. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, proactively identify opportunities for optimization, and communicate technical concepts clearly to stakeholders.

You will
  • Own end-to-end execution of email and SMS campaigns, including coding responsive templates (HTML/CSS), audience segmentation, Liquid-based personalization, QA testing, deployment, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Leverage segmentation strategies to personalize content and drive engagement across diverse member segments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to email/SMS campaigns, ensuring seamless and on-time execution.
  • Manage and enhance our lifecycle tech stack, working with Product and Engineering teams to ensure proper data flow, reliable integrations, and scalable infrastructure that supports accurate personalization at scale and smooth campaign execution.
  • Track, analyze, and optimize performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Project manage and prioritize lifecycle marketing initiatives, contributing to sprint planning and aligning with broader business goals.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate lifecycle efforts with key business initiatives across Marketing, Product, Engineering, Data, Legal, and Clinical Operations.

  • You have
  • 5+ years of experience executing and managing email and SMS campaigns.
  • Hands-on expertise with ESPs like Customer.io, Braze, or Iterable.
  • Hands-on expertise with Twilio.
  • Advanced proficiency in email HTML & CSS, with experience designing responsive email templates.
  • Expertise in Liquid logic for dynamic content and personalization.
  • Experience troubleshooting technical issues, optimizing deliverability, and improving inbox placement.
  • Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide insights.
  • Strong experimentation mindset, with experience in A/B and multivariate testing.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Nice-to-have's
  • Experience in telehealth, nutrition, or healthcare.
  • Experience with push notifications and mobile messaging.
  • Built an email design system or modular template library.
  • Experience working at a high growth stage startup.
  • Experience with Figma, Email on Acid, and Dreamweaver.
  • Experience in supporting the implementation of a CDP alongside Product and Engineering.
