Job description

Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) – $1,500 Sign-On Bonus

Oak Knoll Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our busy, fast-paced, 5-doctor small animal practice!

Our tenured team is friendly, supportive, and committed to providing excellent patient care while maintaining a healthy work/life balance. This is a great opportunity for an LVT who wants to utilize their technical skills, continue growing professionally, and be part of a well-established team.

What You'll Do

• Provide nursing care and patient treatments
• Perform venipuncture and catheter placement
• Assist with surgery and anesthesia
• Perform dental prophylaxis and dental radiographs
• Perform digital radiology and laboratory diagnostics
• Assist with pharmacy duties
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
• Provide client education and communication
• Perform cold laser therapy treatments
• Work closely with veterinarians to provide high-quality patient care

What We're Looking For

• Current LVT license
• Veterinary experience preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Compassionate approach with patients and clients
• Willingness to learn, grow, and jump in where needed
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Compensation & Benefits

$27–$30/hour depending on experience
$1,500 sign-on bonus

Veterinary medicine can be physically demanding. Team members should be comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 30 lbs. independently and 75 lbs. with assistance.
