Pulse is seeking an experienced Clinical/Forensic Psychologist to join a Learning Disabilities service in Grimsby. This is a unique opportunity to work within a psychology-led, multi-disciplinary team supporting individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism who are at risk of offending or have an offending history. You’ll play a key role in helping service users transition safely from secure care into the community, reducing risk and promoting independence. Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Lead the delivery of highly specialist psychological assessments and interventions.
- Provide clinical supervision and consultation to colleagues and partner agencies.
- Take a senior role in managing complex cases and risk assessments.
- Deliver offence-specific therapeutic interventions and treatments.
- Chair and facilitate complex case reviews and multi-agency meetings.
- Contribute to service development, policy review, and research initiatives.
- Communicate complex psychological formulations and treatment plans effectively within the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
- Doctoral-level training in Clinical or Forensic Psychology (BPS accredited).
- Current HCPC registration.
- Experience working with complex cases and challenging behaviours.
- Strong communication, leadership, and consultation skills.
Desirable:
- Post-doctoral training in specialist areas.
- Experience in service development and policy implementation.
- Leadership or management qualification.
