Role Description
This is an associate role supporting Lyra Health’s delivery of mental health services in Melaka, Malaysia. In this role, you will provide counseling/therapy sessions to clients (via in-person and virtual settings), while adhering to Lyra’s clinical and service standards. Associates are expected to have access to a suitable, private, and professional venue to conduct in-person sessions.
Associates will receive client referrals from Lyra and are expected to manage their session scheduling, maintain timely and accurate documentation, and ensure a high standard of care. The role involves periodic coordination with Lyra’s care and operations team to support seamless service delivery and a positive client experience.
Requirements:
Professional Qualification: Must be a Registered Counselor (KB; PA) with the Malaysian Board of Counselors (Lembaga Kaunselor Malaysia) or a qualified Clinical Psychologist registered with the Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council (MAHPC).
Experience in providing counselling or therapy services
Must have a safe, private, and professional space for in-person sessions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain professional standards, confidentiality, and ethical practice
Timely completion of documentation and administrative requirements
Comfortable using digital tools/platforms for sessions and case management
Ability to work independently while maintaining communication with a remote team
Fluency in English; additional local languages are an advantage
