Job description

About the role:

The Internal Communications Lead plays a key role in shaping and executing internal and corporate communications initiatives across Enova. This role owns several high-visibility programs and communications channels, partners closely with cross-functional leaders and helps position Communications as a trusted strategic advisor to the business.

The ideal candidate is an exceptional writer and proactive operator who can manage projects independently, anticipate needs before they arise and build strong relationships across the organization. This person should be equally comfortable executing day-to-day communications work and contributing to broader strategic initiatives. Success in this role requires strong business partnership skills, sound judgment and the ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead communications support for enterprise and functional initiatives across the organization
  • Own and execute enterprise-wide communications programs, including quarterly all-hands meetings, employee recognition initiatives and employee volunteer programming
  • Support executive communications, including messaging development and internal visibility opportunities
  • Partner closely with stakeholders across departments to develop effective communications strategies and execution plans
  • Draft polished, executive-ready communications materials across a variety of formats and audiences
  • Independently manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Anticipate communications risks, stakeholder needs and operational roadblocks before they become issues

What We’re Looking For:

  • Exceptional writing and editorial judgment, including the ability to critically evaluate, refine and finalize executive-ready communications materials
  • Proven ability to manage projects independently and execute with a high level of accuracy and accountability
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional partnership skills
  • Strong professional judgment and organizational awareness
  • Ability to operate proactively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Experience supporting high-visibility communications initiatives and executive stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering polished work product
  • Collaborative, service-oriented mindset with strong business partnership instincts

Requirements:

  • 5-8+ years of experience in corporate communications, internal communications or related field
  • Experience supporting executive communications and enterprise-wide initiatives
  • Experience managing employee engagement programs
  • Public company and/or financial services experience preferred
  • Experience in a regulated industry with formal communications controls (approval workflows, spokesperson standards, risk management processes) — additional qualifier, not a substitute for the above

Compensation:

The budgeted annual salary range for this position is $85,000 to $110,000. Actual annual salary will be determined based on qualifications, skills, experience, and level assessed during the hiring process and may fall outside of the range shown. Additional compensation for this role may include a bonus and restricted stock units. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in Company benefits, described in more detail here.
