About the Role

As an Intermediate Architectural Designer, you bring creativity, refined judgment, discipline, and genuine passion to every stage of the design process, from initial concept through full project development. You partner closely with clients to thoughtfully shape and deliver architectural interior projects that are both highly functional and beautifully detailed. Drawing on your hospitality design experience, you contribute fresh ideas while collaborating with your team to guide each project seamlessly through every design phase.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Participating in client meetings and crafting elaborate client presentations in InDesign, Google Slides and Power Point.
  • Creating, producing and managing detailed design drawings using Revit. AutoCAD knowledge is a plus.
  • Communicating and cross collaborating with other team members to drive conceptual thinking on your projects.
  • Producing detailed 3D models, sketches and boards to support your ideas.
  • Selecting and specifying architectural finishes.
  • Designing, detailing and specifying custom FF&E.
  • Coordinating with vendors and other project consultants to ensure project timelines and budgets are met. 

 

Candidate Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum B.Arch or B.S in Architecture or related field from an accredited school
  • Minimum 4 years of post-graduate design experience in an architectural and/or interior design studio. 
  • Experience in design work within the hospitality industry is a plus
  • Strong Revit, Enscap skills. AutoCAD skills are a plus.
  • Posess the ability to model in 3DS Max, Rhino or Revit.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with designers across the firm.
  • NCIDQ certification or AIA licensure are a plus.

 

Location: This opportunity is located at our Broadway Studio in New York. On this occasion, we can only consider applications from those fully authorised to work in the U.S.
This position involves a hybrid work arrangement, incorporating both a 2-day remote and a 3-day in-person commitment in our New York studio.

Contract: Full time, permanent

Compensation: The base salary range for this position is between $75,000 - $90,000 plus benefits. We will consider relevant experience and qualifications in determining compensation.
