Job Title: ITU Nurse – (INTENSIVE CARE NURSE)

Banding: Band 5

Location: Whitechapel Road - London

Working Hours: Full-time/Part-time

Rate: £19.72 – £31.05 per hour

Are you a skilled Band 5 Intensive Care Nurse (ITU) looking for a new opportunity? Join our team at a leading NHS Trust, located in Whitechapel Road, where you will provide exceptional care and support to our patients in the ITU department. What will your critical care responsibilities be?

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the ITU.
  • Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, reporting any changes to the medical team.
  • Carry out assessments, administer treatments, and manage intensive care procedures.
  • Utilize restraint and head hold techniques when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in critical care.
  • Strong understanding of critical care procedures, monitoring, and patient safety.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work across various shifts including nights, weekends and days.
