You will handle a diverse workload across various surgical specialties, with opportunities for subspecialising.

What will your responsibilities be?

As an intensive care medicine consultant, you lead the care of critically ill patients, managing life-threatening conditions with advanced interventions like ventilation and organ support. You guide multidisciplinary teams, make rapid clinical decisions, support families through complex care discussions, and ensure high standards through teaching, governance, and service development.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • GMC Specialist Register - Intensive Care Medicine
  • FRCA + FFICM
  • CCT or CESR
  • 6+ months NHS Consultant Intensive Care Medicine exp
