Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Foreman with a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in industrial electrical systems and field leadership. This role is responsible for supervising crews, coordinating project activities, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and mentor field crews on industrial job sites
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and OSHA requirements
- Review drawings, plan upcoming work, and coordinate with other trades
- Attend GC coordination meetings on behalf of LLR Electric
- Create short-term plans (weekly/3-week look ahead) to keep the job on track
- Order materials and manage manpower/equipment needs
- Track job progress and communicate updates to the PM and Superintendent
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and control system issues in the field
- Perform daily quality checks and address issues quickly
- Complete basic project documentation (daily logs, timekeeping, safety forms)
What You Bring
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in industrial electrical work, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong working knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), motor controls, and automation systems
- Experience with flow transmitters and industrial instrumentation
- Proficiency in installing and working with various types of conduit systems (EMT, rigid, PVC, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
- OSHA 10 (required)
- Strong understanding of NEC, electrical systems, and commercial/industrial installations
- Ability to read blueprints, one-lines, and specs
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to stay organized, plan ahead, and mentor others
