Reports to: Human Resources Director in JapanPosition Overview
We are looking for a HR Manager for our Japan organization. This person will play a
critical role in help shaping and executing our People strategy. This position requires a
strategic thinker and operational expert with a strong background in human resources,
particularly within the technology or cybersecurity sectors. This is an individual
contributor role with extensive international and domestic stakeholder management
required.Key Responsibilities
● Execute day-to-day HR operations efficiently, ensuring smooth employee
lifecycle management, by administering and/or improving the onboarding and
offboarding processes, including document preparation, induction training, HR
system registration, etc.
● Provide expert guidance and support to managers and employees in relation to
HR policies, processes, and a variety of HR-related inquiries while ensuring
compliance with all labor laws and regulations, and the company work rules.
● Partner with the global HR team and HR Director on salary planning, job
architecture, and job leveling in relation to hires, promotions, salary adjustments,
salary and bonus reviews, and other compensation-related matters.
● Partner with the HR Director and Japan functional leaders to drive
comprehensive HR projects and programs (e.g, performance management,
succession planning, training and development, and engagement initiatives) that
support the Company business goals and objectives and also foster a culture
that reflects Cybereason's values.
● Engage in regular HR reporting and analytics, providing insights to drive
continuous improvement.
● Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations by updating internal work
regulations as necessary working with Legal.● Provide, as needed, support to ensure smooth payroll and benefits operation with
effective and efficient vendor management.
● Help with other HR tasks as needed.Qualifications
● 5+ years of proven HR leadership experience, ideally as a business partner or
manager in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with good prior experience in
managing overall HR operations as HR Generalist in small to mid-sized
companies.
● In-depth knowledge of Japanese labor laws and HR practices.
● Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English, with strong written and verbal
communication skills is essential.
● Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
● Adaptability and a proactive, collaborative and professional mindset.
● Strong Excel/spreadsheet skills
● Experience in Workday
● Health Supervisor License
● Experience in Google Drive, Calendar, Docs, Slides, Sheets, and Forms,
desirable
● Self starter#LI-Remote
