Summary: 

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic advisor to business leaders, aligning people strategy with organizational goals. This role partners with leadership to drive talent initiatives, strengthen employee engagement, and ensure consistent application of HR policies and employment practices. The HRBP leads and supports process improvement across core HR workflows (e.g., onboarding, HRIS data integrity, performance reviews, etc.), leveraging data, audit findings, and stakeholder feedback to streamline operations, improve the employee experience, and maintain compliance with applicable federal and state employment laws.

Job Functions: 

  • Partners with business units to provide day-to-day coaching to leaders and employees on policy interpretation, benefits, and workplace practices; escalates and partners with HR leadership and counsel as appropriate.
  • Continuously drives data accuracy through audits, controls, and root-cause problem solving.
  • Ensures ongoing compliance with personnel files and HR records; establishes retention practices, audit routines, and corrective actions.
  • Leads timely completion of HR data requests ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and appropriate documentation.
  • Leads and partners on cross-functional HR initiatives (performance management, compensation/bonus cycles, engagement actions, and company-wide meetings), including documentation, change management, and process optimization.
  • Performs additional duties and leads special projects as assigned by the Senior Vice President, Human Resources.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands: 

This role is onsite in our brand new Downtown Delray Beach office. We foster a fast, flexible, and friendly culture where team members recognize the importance of in-person collaboration while providing the ability to have a flexible schedule and work remotely when needed. 

Education and Experience:

  • Four-year degree required, preferably in Human Resources, Business, Finance or other related field
  • 5-7 years of progressive HR experience required, including experience partnering directly with leaders as an HR Business Partner
  • 3 or more years of HRIS experience required, including reporting/analytics, data integrity, and continuous improvement of HR workflows. Experience with Paycom preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel required, including data analysis (pivot tables, lookups) and the ability to build clear, actionable reports
  • HR certification preferred (e.g., SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, PHR/SPHR); process improvement training/certification (Lean/Six Sigma) a plus
  • Strong consultative and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence, coach leaders, and communicate effectively with employees at all levels, in person and in writing
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, lead projects, and drive process improvements with strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated experience improving HR processes (e.g., onboarding, HRIS/data quality, benefits, payroll coordination), including documenting procedures, training users, and measuring outcomes
  • Effective in an entrepreneurial culture, working independently and as part of a team
