About the Role

We're looking for a Head of Account Management to establish and lead our Account Management function from the ground up. As our first AM hire, you'll be building out a small team while carrying a portion of the book yourself — setting the standard for how we retain, grow, and deepen our most strategic enterprise relationships.

This is a rare opportunity to own both the strategy and the execution. You'll design the playbooks, hire the team, and personally work our largest accounts — reporting directly to the CRO and partnering closely with AEs and Agent Product Managers (APMs) to translate successful AI implementations into multi-million dollar expansions. What You'll Do

Build & Lead the AM Function

  • Hire and develop a small, high-caliber AM team as we scale toward Series B and beyond.
  • Design the playbooks, health-scoring models, and expansion frameworks that define how Account Management operates at Actively.
  • Set the performance bar by leading from the front — you will carry a portion of the book as you build the team.

Drive Commercial Performance

  • Own the renewal process end-to-end and relentlessly pursue expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Serve as the commercial "checks and balances" for the technical delivery team, ensuring new customer requests align with paid expansion opportunities and contracted value.
  • Orchestrate strategic expansion by identifying new departments and personas where Actively's AI agents can drive outsized value — moving customers from a single use case to an enterprise-wide AI GTM stack.

Own Executive Relationships

  • Build trusted advisor relationships with CROs and VPs of RevOps, mapping Actively's technical performance to their top-level strategic objectives.
  • Lead Executive Business Reviews (EBRs), owning the commercial narrative with a focus on ROI, productivity lift, and long-term roadmap alignment.

Who You Are

  • A Builder-Leader: You've managed or built AM teams before and know how to hire and develop talent — and you're equally comfortable rolling up your sleeves and carrying a book yourself.
  • Commercially Driven: You aren't a traditional "gatherer" CSM. You identify revenue gaps and close them. NRR isn't a metric you report on — it's one you move.
  • 7+ years of experience in Enterprise Account Management or Sales, with at least some of that time at a fast-growing startup.
  • Technically Credible: You can hold your own with senior technical leaders on AI-native workflows while translating that value clearly to a CRO's bottom line.
  • GTM Fluent: You speak the language of productivity per rep, LTV/CAC, and expansion motions — and you know how to build the infrastructure to support them.

Compensation Range:
$175,000$325,000 USD
