Job description

About EnergyHub
EnergyHub empowers utilities and their customers to create a clean, distributed energy future. We help consumers turn their smart thermostats, EVs, batteries, and other products into virtual power plants that keep the grid stable and enable higher penetration of solar and wind power.

About the Opportunity
As a Growth Marketing Specialist, you will scale our Virtual Power Plants (VPPs) by contributing to enrollment growth.

In this role, you will support the marketing strategy and enrollment goals for key device categories. By combining your skills in multi-channel marketing and project management, you will execute initiatives that champion our VPP programs. You will also collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to support existing relationships and identify opportunities for optimization.

To thrive in this role, you should be a versatile marketer who embraces new challenges as opportunities to learn and grow. A natural curiosity and an appetite for testing, analyzing, and adapting will be the keys to your success.

What you will do:

  • Deeply understand the customer journey, identify friction points, and stay informed about industry realities.
  • Execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, including paid social, to deliver measurable growth.
  • Use marketing analytics to build reporting and surface data-driven insights for ongoing initiatives.
  • Help manage paid media, regularly analyzing marketing efforts to identify bottlenecks, optimize channels, and confidently make strategic assumptions with existing data.
  • Coordinate co-marketing efforts with OEMs, complementary brands, and communities.
  • Explore creative messaging strategies and work with external copywriters and designers to deliver high-quality, on-brand content and design assets.

What we expect from you:

  • 3-4 years of non-internship marketing experience, ideally in a startup or agency environment where you gained hands-on experience across multiple channels rather than being specialized in just one area.
  • High comfort level with ambiguity. You are willing to test out new concepts, learn fast, and pivot your approach when data tells you a campaign is not working.
  • Foundational knowledge of marketing analytics with a growing ability to review datasets and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing tracking, platforms, and tools like Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta, and CMS platforms.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools such as Sigma, Tableau, or adjacent technologies is a plus.
  • Strong project management and communication skills to support multiple campaigns and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Curiosity to develop category knowledge and a willingness to learn creative and customer experience best practices.

Please note that sponsorship of new applicants for employment authorization, or any other immigration-related support, is not available for this position at this time.

Why work for EnergyHub?

  • Collaborate with outstanding people: Our employees work hard, do great work, and enjoy collaborating and learning from each other.
  • Make an immediate impact: New employees can expect to be given real responsibility for bringing new technologies to the marketplace. You are empowered to perform as soon as you join the team!
  • Gain well rounded experience: EnergyHub offers a diverse and dynamic environment where you will get the chance to work directly with executives and develop expertise across multiple areas of the business.
  • Work with the latest technologies: You'll gain exposure to a broad spectrum of IoT, SaaS and machine learning obstacles, including distributed fault-tolerance, device control optimization, and process modeling to support scalable interaction with disparate downstream APIs.
  • Be part of something important: Help create the future of how energy is produced and consumed. Make a positive impact on our climate.
