ABOUT ROCKET MONEY đź”®

Rocket Money’s mission is to empower people to live their best financial lives. Rocket Money offers members a unique understanding of their finances and a suite of valuable services that save them time and money – ultimately giving them a leg up on their financial journey.

Please note: We strongly encourage team members to be in office 1-2 days per week, though there is no formal in-office requirement.

ABOUT THE ROLE 🤹‍♀️

Reporting to the Director of Growth, this role is responsible for executing Rocket Money's TV acquisition strategy across Linear and Streaming TV. You will own the day-to-day execution, analysis, and optimization of our TV media buying, turning strategy into results. You'll partner closely with the Director of Growth and cross-functional teams to sharpen measurement, test new tactics, and continuously improve performance. This is an opportunity to make an immediate, measurable impact on Rocket Money's growth. We are in a hyper-growth phase and expanding how we think about TV, from a performance-first engine toward a blended performance and brand strategy. In this role, you'll help accelerate velocity, unlock new scale, and raise the bar for how we approach growth marketing.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU'LL:

  • Drive TV Channel Performance: Own day-to-day media buying, optimizations, pacing, and post-buy analysis across Linear and Streaming TV, ensuring we consistently hit CPA, CAC, and ROAS targets.
  • Optimize Spend For Efficiency and Impact: Identify high-potential pockets, apply repeatable playbooks, and scale winning tactics across networks and publishers.
  • Manage Budget and Forecasting: Own weekly pacing and forecasting for TV, monitor spend effectiveness and ROAS, and surface findings with actionable recommendations.
  • Analyze and Optimize Relentlessly: Dive deep into campaign performance data to surface insights, identify winning networks, publishers, and formats, and translate learnings into actionable optimizations.
  • Design and Run Experiments: Execute a structured testing roadmap for TV, developing clear hypotheses and success criteria for individual tests and translating results into actionable learnings.
  • Treat Creative As A Performance Lever: Partner with the Creative team to brief, test, and iterate on TV creative, and turn testing insights into a stronger, higher-performing creative library.
  • Manage Agency and Vendor Partners: Work closely with our TV buying and measurement partners to plan, execute, and optimize campaigns, holding them to a high bar.
  • Strengthen Measurement: Collaborate with Data, Product, Engineering, and CRM to improve attribution, unlock growth levers, and ensure data quality across campaigns.
  • Communicate Performance and Insights: Contribute to regular reporting on TV channel performance, sharing key wins, learnings, and recommendations with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Improve Systems and Processes: Contribute to Rocket Money's culture of curiosity by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance tracking, and build scalable processes as the TV program continues to grow.
  • Stay Ahead of the Space: Track industry trends, identify first-to-market opportunities, and share learnings across the team.
  • Ensure Brand Safety and Compliance: Uphold brand safety, regulatory compliance, and privacy standards in all media activity; collaborate with Legal/Compliance as needed.

ABOUT YOU 🦄

  • 4+ years of experience in TV media buying at a high growth consumer company, startup, or agency, with hands-on experience across Linear and/or Streaming/CTV.
  • Strong analytical foundation with fluency in core growth and efficiency metrics such as CAC, ROAS, LTV to CAC, and blended performance.
  • Ability to turn data and experiment results into clear recommendations and action.
  • Experience coordinating across internal teams and external partners or agencies.
  • A holistic view of the marketing funnel and an understanding of the role each channel plays.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and making fast decisions with imperfect information.
  • Familiarity with TV measurement approaches like incrementality testing, media mix modeling, and attribution, and how to apply findings to channel strategy. Bonus points if you've worked with Haus.
  • Naturally curious with a strong inclination to question assumptions and validate ideas through data and experimentation.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel. Experience with Looker or similar analytics tools is a plus.
