 This position is onsite at our Denton Fulfillment Center

 

About the role

The Inbound Lead will coordinate all inbound activities, warehouse staff and daily activities.

 

Responsibilities

  • Greet truck drivers, verifying BOL’s/PO’s assigning dock doors to truck drivers and assigning work to inbound personnel for receiving 
  • Unload trailers, receive inbound product or operator power equipment as needed
  • Assist in evaluating the quality of all fresh products
  • Assist in researching and resolving inventory quality and/or efficiency related opportunities
  • Conduct observation in the inbound process and provide inbound associates with coaching/feedback
  • Coordinate the prep activities for specific items (i.e., bagging fresh meat, adding best by stickers etc.)
  • Backup the inbound supervisor if they are off the floor for meetings, etc.
  • Maintain a high level of housekeeping in the assigned area
  • Adhere to health & safety policies, GMP’s and quality standards
  • Work in a temperature-controlled environment averaging 38 degrees
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in a similar role
  • High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent
  • Self-motivated with high sense of urgency, resourceful and adaptability
