Responsibilities:
  • Manage GL accounting
  • Prepare the schedule of prepaid expenses, Capitalization of assets, maintaining
  • Fixed Asset register, and monthly amortization.
  • Prepare monthly closing entries
  • Prepare OPEX analysis and ensure accruals are accounted for with proper documentation
  • Prepare accounting reports and statements by Segment, Regional Business Unit, Legal Entities
  • Provide technical accounting advice to functional or operational area managers to help them develop revenue and expense budgets, understand financial reports and manage their financial responsibilities
  • Reconcile accounting records with the independent administrator
  • Assist in internal and external audits by providing accurate financial documentation
  • Assist with special projects as needed which may include new accounting standards, system implementations/enhancements, benefit plan financial statements and financial analyses
  • Prepare all required tax reporting and compliance forms
  • Prepare annual reports and tax reports for various states
  • Requirements:
  • A Bachelors Degree or higher in Accounting & Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or other relevant fields
  • 3-5 years of experience within the field
  • Strong proficiency and knowledge of Accounting, Tax, and Compliance.
  • A Finance Graduate with relevant years of experience or CA/CA-inter is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office and other Finance software
