Join our team as an Engineering Manager.

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our team in designing, developing, and implementing our innovative MRI and robotics platform. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on electrical engineering expertise, bridging the gap between visionary technology and practical application.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers in the development of MR-guided robotic solutions and portable MRI systems.
• Manage the entire lifecycle of product development from concept to deployment, ensuring projects meet quality standards, budget, and timelines.
• Foster innovation and problem-solving skills within the team, encouraging a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Product Management, and Quality Assurance, to align engineering projects with company goals and regulatory requirements.
• Drive the strategy for electrical engineering processes and technologies, including PCB design, power distribution, and signal integrity.
• Oversee the design, simulation, testing, and iteration of electrical components and systems, ensuring robust and efficient product designs.
• Manage resource allocation, project scheduling, and budgeting for the electrical engineering department.
• Represent the engineering team in executive discussions, providing insights, updates, and strategic recommendations.

Minimum Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field, with a Master’s degree preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role, preferably in the medical device or healthcare technology sector.
• Comprehensive understanding of electrical engineering principles, circuit design, and the development of electromechanical systems.
• Proven track record of leading engineering teams and projects to successful outcomes.
• Strong project management skills and proficiency in using project management tools.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with medical device regulatory standards and quality assurance practices.

Desired Experience:

· Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field.

· Basic knowledge of power electronics system and hardware connections.

· Knowledge of robotics principles (kinematics and controls) is preferred.

· Working knowledge of MRI system hardware (RF coils, gradient coils, magnet, spectrometer, etc.) and lab equipment (function generator, oscilloscope, VNA, power supply, etc.)

· Experience with simulation and design software (LTSpice, KiCAD, Altium, MATLAB, etc.)

· Experience with programming languages (C/C++, Python, etc.)
