Employee Experience Specialist
We're looking for an Employee Experience Specialist to own the events, culture, and everyday moments that make Workshop feel like Workshop - from quarterly retreats and team outings to employee recognition programs and the day-to-day vibe of the office. The right person really cares about creating experiences that help employees feel seen and included every day.
Our mission is to create more Happy Mondays for employees everywhere, and you’ll play an incredibly meaningful and crucial part in delivering on that mission internally.
As the Employee Experience Specialist you will:
- Look for new and creative ways to keep Workshop a place people are genuinely excited to work
- Help improve operational procedures and guidelines that shape employees’ day-to-day experience
- Organize company events, including quarterly retreats, team building off-sites, monthly office celebrations, and company outings
- Make sure remote employees feel just as connected to the team as everyone in the office
- Book travel for employee events as needed
- Champion a culture that lives up to our values
To be successful in this position, you’ll need:
- Relevant work experience in event planning, office management, HR or a similar field
- An optimistic approach to daily work
- A passion for making workplaces run well and employees feel taken care of
- A good eye for event aesthetics, office vibes, and the logistics behind both
- To be willing (and excited!) to collaborate with others in-person and remotely
- To love getting to know people and bring social energy to a group
- Comfort juggling a dozen things at once
Bonus points if you:
- Have experience planning company events for groups of 50+
- Can negotiate with vendors and manage a large budget
- Thrive in a fast-paced work environment
Compensation & Benefits:
Pay: $60,000-$75,000 depending on experience
