Job description

Puget Sound Veterinary Specialty & Emergency is seeking an Associate Veterinarian in Emergency Medicine to join us in our recently completed, state-of-the-art, 21,000 sqft facility in Gig Harbor, Washington.

About Us:

We are building a progressive and inclusive practice, starting with the vision of breaking the mold of veterinary medicine that is rife with burnout and compassion fatigue. At PSVSE, we pride ourselves not only on our commitment to the health and well-being of our patients and their families, but our employees as well. Our core values of Respect, Integrity, Compassion, and Humility with the over-arching Do The Right Thing are the backbone of how we practice medicine, care for ourselves, each other, our patients and their families. We prioritize quality of life and work-life balance to give time to enjoy everything the beautiful PNW has to offer.

Our hospital includes a dedicated ICU, including long-term mechanical ventilator, high-flow oxygen unit, full in-house lab, 128-slice CT, MRI, ultrasound, in-house blood-bank, fluoroscopy and interventional radiology suite, radioactive iodine therapy, minimally invasive surgery, flexible and rigid endoscopy, and more. Our technical and support staff are highly valued as critical members of the team. In addition to exemplary specialty and emergency medicine, we are building a collaborative and collegial working environment that supports continued growth and learning in our hospital at all levels.

Our compensation package includes a competitive base salary, monthly production with no-negative accrual, along with sign-on and relocation bonuses. We offer a great benefits package including, but not limited to: health insurance (vision, medical, dental, with company HSA contribution), life and disability insurance, 401K with company match, PTO, generous CE, reimbursement for membership dues and license fees, uniform allowance, and more.

If your dream quality of life involves loving your job as well as pursuing your passions outside of work, come join us, develop your emergency service, and see what working with a truly supportive, engaged team is like!
