Puget Sound Veterinary Specialty & Emergency (PSVSE)

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Client Service Representativewho thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates with empathy and confidence, and is passionate about providing exceptional client care.

Position Summary
The Emergency CSR plays a critical role in supporting the flow of our 24/7 emergency hospital. This position is responsible for managing incoming emergency calls, coordinating patient check-ins, obtaining accurate patient information, supporting medical team communication, and ensuring clients feel supported throughout their visit.

This role is ideal for someone who can remain calm and professional during high-stress situations while creating a compassionate and welcoming experience for clients and patients alike.

What You’ll Do
• Answer and manage incoming emergency calls with urgency, professionalism, and empathy
• Provide compassionate support to clients during stressful and emotional situations
• Obtain accurate patient histories and communicate effectively with the medical team
• Triage calls appropriately and prioritize incoming cases based on urgency
• Check in emergency patients efficiently while maintaining a positive client experience
• Support front desk workflow including documentation, payments, and medical record management
• Collaborate closely with doctors, technicians, assistants, and leadership to support patient care
• Maintain an organized, professional, and team-focused reception environment

What We’re Looking For
• Minimum of 1 year of veterinary CSR or reception experience required
• Emergency or specialty veterinary experience strongly preferred
• Strong multitasking, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to remain calm, compassionate, and efficient in high-pressure situations
• Confidence handling emotional or sensitive client interactions
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn, grow, and support others
