Job description
Since 2003, Entrata has evolved from a visionary, student-led startup into a global leader in AI-driven property management technology. Today, we power the industry's most essential operating system, serving owners and residents worldwide through a comprehensive suite of intelligent leasing, payment, and communication tools powered by cutting-edge AI. With a proven track record of sustained growth and a global team of more than 2,200 employees, we offer the rare combination of established stability and high-velocity innovation. Recognized by the Silicon Slopes Hall of Fame and the Utah Business Fast 50, Entrata fosters a culture of radical transparency and entrepreneurial energy. At Entrata, we create an environment where different perspectives are valued and respected. Those perspectives challenge assumptions, strengthen our decisions, and raise the bar as we reshape the global living experience through AI-powered solutions.

Entrata is looking for a transformational procurement leader to build and scale our global procurement organization. As Director of Procurement, you'll partner with executive leadership to modernize procurement strategy, optimize enterprise spend, strengthen supplier partnerships, and implement scalable processes and technology that enable continued company growth. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for transforming procurement from a transactional function into a trusted strategic partner across Engineering, Product, IT, Security, Finance, Legal, and Corporate Operations.

Responsibilites
  • Develop and execute Entrata's global procurement strategy, aligning sourcing, supplier management, and procurement operations with the company's growth objectives and long-term business strategy.

  • Build and mature a best-in-class procurement organization that serves as a strategic business partner across Finance, Engineering, Product, IT, Security, Legal, People, Workplace, and other corporate functions.

  • Lead the transformation of procurement from a transactional function into a scalable, data-driven organization by modernizing processes, governance, technology, and operating models.

  • Own enterprise-wide sourcing strategies across software, SaaS, cloud infrastructure, professional services, hardware, facilities, and other indirect spend categories to maximize business value.

  • Lead complex commercial negotiations and strategic supplier relationships, balancing cost optimization, business agility, innovation, and risk management.

  • Establish procurement governance, policies, and best practices that improve purchasing efficiency, increase spend visibility, and ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Partner with executive leadership to develop procurement strategies that support annual planning, budgeting, enterprise initiatives, and organizational priorities.

  • Drive measurable improvements through procurement technology, evaluating, implementing, and optimizing platforms that enhance automation, reporting, supplier management, and user experience.

  • Develop meaningful procurement KPIs and executive reporting that measure savings, supplier performance, procurement cycle times, contract compliance, adoption, and overall business impact.

  • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement team, fostering accountability, continuous improvement, and a customer-focused service mindset.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, influencing sourcing decisions, supplier strategy, and enterprise investment priorities through data-driven recommendations.

  • Champion continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to simplify procurement processes, reduce operational friction, and enable teams to move quickly while maintaining appropriate governance and controls

  • Essential Functions
  • Provide strategic leadership for Entrata's global procurement function, ensuring procurement enables business growth while delivering measurable value across the enterprise.

  • Partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to influence enterprise purchasing decisions and align procurement initiatives with business objectives.

  • Lead complex commercial negotiations and oversee strategic supplier relationships to maximize long-term business value and operational performance.

  • Drive procurement transformation through process optimization, governance, automation, and technology adoption to improve efficiency and scalability.

  • Establish and monitor procurement metrics, reporting, and controls to measure business impact, supplier performance, and operational effectiveness.

  • Build, develop, and lead a high-performing procurement team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, and internal governance standards.

  • Effectively prioritize initiatives, manage competing business demands, and deliver results in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Maintain strong, professional relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and executive leadership while serving as a trusted advisor on procurement strategy.

  • Minimum Qualifications
  • Proven success leading a global or multi-region procurement function within a high-growth technology or SaaS organization.

  • Demonstrated experience transforming procurement through process improvement, governance, and procurement technology.

  • Deep expertise in strategic sourcing, commercial negotiations, supplier management, and contract lifecycle management.
