Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) - St. Cloud, MN

What you'll need:

  • CVT certification preferred — but if you've got solid hands-on experience as a veterinary technician, we'd love to talk with you too!
  • Broad knowledge of animal science, basic pharmacology and strong math skills for accurate dosing
  • Confidence in handling and restraint
  • A focus on patient safety, communication and teamwork
  • Strong computer and recordkeeping skills (Avimark experience a plus)
  • Comfort with anesthesia, dentistry and radiology (or eagerness to learn)
  • Ability to adapt quickly and stay calm in a fast-paced environment
  • Compassion, professionalism and a genuine love of learning

What you'll be doing (and we'll happily train you to grow in these areas):

  • Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
  • In-house lab testing and diagnostics
  • Radiology and laser therapy
  • Surgical prep and assistance
  • Dentistry and dental radiographs
  • Pre- and post-op care
  • Anesthesia and cardiac monitoring
  • Client education and maintaining accurate medical records

Pay Range: $21-$28/hour
