About the Role
Crypto.com is looking for a Compliance Manager to lead and strengthen our U.S. consumer compliance program and exchange operations. This is a high-ownership, hands-on role built for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments and brings deep experience in consumer protection laws, Regulation E, and UDAAP compliance. Responsibilities
Own and maintain the U.S. Consumer Compliance framework, serving as the subject matter expert on Reg E (EFTs, error resolution, unauthorized transfers, chargebacks, notice disclosures) and UDAAP risk mitigation across all products.
Conduct ongoing compliance reviews of consumer-facing flows, terms of service, disclosures, promotional materials, and product features to identify and prevent potential UDAAP issues.
Oversee and enhance Reg E error resolution timelines, root-cause analysis for consumer complaints, and chargeback compliance mechanisms.
Lead preparations for consumer compliance examinations and audits; manage project plans, scoping, timelines, and deliverables for regulatory remediation efforts.
Own, update, and operationalize consumer compliance policies, ensuring alignment with evolving federal (CFPB, FTC, OCC/FDIC standards) and state regulations.
Partner with product, operations, legal, and customer support teams to integrate consumer protection controls into product rollouts and customer communication (RFI) workflows.
Provide secondary support for broader compliance program initiatives, including BSA/AML policy alignment, executive committee reporting, and ad hoc regulatory submissions.
