Taproot Wizards is seeking a Communications Lead to help spread the message of the wizards far and wide. This role is ideal for an Ordinals/Crypto native with 3+ years in a startup digital marketing role.
What You’ll Do:
- Organize press briefings, media sessions, and events, and create press materials, including media pitches, FAQs, and fact sheets, in coordination with the team
- Reactively respond to media inquiries, educate reporters, correct misperceptions about our thoughts and work with the team on issues and crisis communications
- Storyline with executives to create impactful pitches and narratives to strengthen Taproot Wizards’ leadership in Bitcoin tech and memes
- Secure speaking appearances at conferences and on podcasts
- Prep team members for their public appearances
Qualifications
- 5+ years in a PR manager/lead role Experience media training founders for interview opportunities
- You have superior writing capability (e.g., press materials, releases, event/creative briefs, press coverage reporting).
- Proven ability to pitch and secure media coverage
- Great relationships with industry publications and journalists
- Crypto native for at least one full bull/bear cycle
- A nuanced understanding of the Bitcoin/Ordinals landscape
