We show up with empathy, humility, and integrity at every step of the journey.About the RoleIn this role, you will be responsible for the pre-analytical phase of testing (e.g., specimen receipt, accessioning, and plasma/buffy coat isolation) and assisting with general laboratory operations, such as equipment maintenance, labware cleaning, inventory, and reagent manufacturing. You will work closely with automation, assay development and technology transfer scientists to build scalable infrastructure within the Clinical Laboratory. You will be part of a cross-functional team working to sustain the Laboratory Operations.Shift: Tuesday to Saturday morningWhat You’ll Do
- Perform pre-analytical phase procedures according to the laboratory’s standard operating procedures.
- Assist Clinical Laboratory Scientist in analytical testing.
- Operate, maintain, and assist in troubleshooting equipment according to the laboratory’s standard operating procedures.
- Clean labware, equipment, and benches.
- Drafting standard operating procedures.
- Participate in inventory, stocking, and general organization in the laboratory.

What You’ll Bring to DELFI- Associate degree or equivalent in Biological Sciences or related field with at least three years of experience.
- Ability to communicate complex technical results to a cross-functional audience
- Desire to learn about cancer genetics and contribute to a diverse, collaborative, and mutually respectful working environment
- Must fulfill requirements stated in 42 CFR 493.1489 or 493.1491

Preferred- BS in Biomedical Laboratory Sciences, Clinical Science, or equivalent
- 1+ years of Clinical Laboratory experience or equivalent high complexity and volume laboratory experience
- Laboratory experience within the last year
- Experience with next-generation sequencing, molecular biology techniques, and automated liquid handlers
- Experience with general laboratory equipment
- Working knowledge of local, state, and federal laboratory regulations
