The Opportunity

We are seeking a CFO, North Americas to lead the financial function, with responsibility for managing all aspects of finance, audit, tax, accounting and treasury for our U.S. and Canadian entities. This executive will serve as the senior finance leader on the ground in North America, partnering closely with the Group CFO and global finance team while owning the regional financial architecture that supports a CFTC-regulated exchange, a crypto trading platform, a prediction markets business, new business lines, and a NY OCC Trust bank.. The ideal candidate brings a distinctive blend of financial services expertise, public accounting rigor, and hands-on experience in the digital asset industry.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Finance & Leadership

  • Own the financial strategy and long-range planning for all Americas entities, including Nadex (DCM), OG.com prediction markets operations, and the U.S. crypto exchange business.
  • Serve as the primary finance business partner to Americas leadership, providing data-driven insights on revenue, margin, product economics, and capital allocation.
  • Build and present board-ready financial narratives and investor materials as needed.
  • Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and scenario analysis across all Americas business lines.
  • Lead the financial integration and operational setup of new business lines
  • Financial Reporting & Controls

  • Oversee the preparation of U.S. GAAP financial statements, management reporting packages, and consolidation deliverables for global reporting.
  • Ensure robust internal controls over financial reporting and SOX-equivalent frameworks as required for a regulated exchange.
  • Manage the external audit relationship and coordinate with global finance on group-level audit and statutory requirements.
  • Own technical accounting positions on complex topics including digital asset accounting, derivatives revenue recognition, and customer fund segregation.
  • Regulatory & Compliance Finance

  • Ensure financial compliance with CFTC regulations applicable to designated contract markets, including capital adequacy, financial reporting to regulators, and customer protection rules.
  • Partner with Legal and Compliance on regulatory filings, examinations, and responses to CFTC, NFA, and state regulatory inquiries.
  • Maintain and enhance financial controls for customer fund segregation and protection in accordance with Part 22 and related CFTC requirements.
  • Monitor the evolving U.S. regulatory landscape for digital assets and prediction markets, advising leadership on financial and structural implications of new rules.
  • Treasury & Operations

  • Oversee Americas treasury operations, including cash management, bank relationships, and liquidity planning across fiat and digital asset holdings.
  • Manage intercompany transactions, transfer pricing, and funding structures between U.S. entities and the global group.
  • Collaborate with Tax on federal, state, and international tax planning, compliance, and transfer pricing documentation.
  • Team Building & Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing Americas finance team spanning FP&A, tax, treasury, accounting, and financial operations.
  • Drive finance process improvement and systems modernization, including ERP optimization and automation of reporting workflows.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations to ensure financial considerations are embedded in product launches, market structure changes, and new business initiatives.
  • Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA required.
  • 15+ years of progressive finance experience, with a meaningful portion in financial services or capital markets.
  • Deep familiarity with US GAAP, including technical accounting for derivatives, financial instruments, and revenue recognition.
  • Experience with CFTC-regulated entities or similar regulatory environments (SEC, FINRA, OCC) and the associated financial reporting and capital requirements.
  • Proven track record of building and leading finance teams in high-growth, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate complex financial topics to senior leadership, board members, and regulators.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Direct experience with designated contract markets (DCMs), swap execution facilities (SEFs), or futures commission merchants (FCMs).
  • Experience in the cryptocurrency, digital asset treasury management, including on-chain transactions, stablecoin etc is an advantage
  • Experience with prediction markets, event contracts, or binary options from a financial or operational perspective.
  • Proficiency with modern finance tools and platforms (e.g., NetSuite, Anaplan, Tableau, or similar).
