Role: Locum Pharmacist 
Banding: Band 7
Location: Epping 
Start Date: 23rd September 
Duration: 18th November (with possible extension)
Hours: Full-time, 08:30AM - 17:30PM
Rate: £28 - £34 per hour

About the role:

The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 7 Pharmacist to join our Community Health team. This is a temporary placement starting from 23rd September until 18th November, with the possibility of extension depending on the progress of permanent staff recruitment.

Key Responsibilities:

You will provide clinical pharmacy services across various sites. You will ensure the safe and effective use of medicines within the community. You will conduct ward rounds and provide clinical support. You will travel to different locations once a week (mileage reimbursed at 56p per mile).

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience/Knowledge:
• Up to date GPhC registration.
• Master’s degree in pharmacy or equivalent.
• Proven hospital experience is essential.
• Must be a car driver.
• Essential ward clinical experience.
• Proficient in IT and electronic health records.

• Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
