We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Locum Paediatric Audiologist to join Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust for a 6-month contract. This role provides the opportunity to work within a countywide service, delivering high-quality audiology care to children across various settings. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Band 6 paediatric audiologist, along with a specialist master's-level module in paediatric audiology. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in paediatric care within a dynamic NHS environment.Responsibilities:
As a Locum Paediatric Audiologist, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of audiological services, including hearing assessments, diagnostic testing, and fitting and managing hearing aids for paediatric patients. You will also assist in identifying and managing hearing disorders, ensuring timely and accurate intervention. You will be expected to work closely with families, providing education and advice on hearing loss and other related conditions. Additionally, you will contribute to audits and maintain accurate patient records, using clinical systems like Auditbase to support efficient service delivery.Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Band 6 Paediatric Audiologist.
- Specialist master’s-level module in Paediatric Audiology.
- Professional registration with the AHCS or HCPC.
Desirable:
- HTS certificate in Paediatric Audiology (6 months+).
- Knowledge of Auditbase system.
