Job Description:
Croydon Healthcare Services is seeking a highly specialist Band 7 Locum Dietitian for a Tier 3 Weight Management role. This full-time position is available to start as soon as possible and is initially offered for a duration of 1 year. The role comes with an all-inclusive rate of £34.87 per hour. The successful candidate will be HCPC registered and have the right to work in the UK. As a Band 7 Dietitian, you will provide advanced dietary management and support for patients with complex weight management needs, working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.

What your responsibilities will be for this Dietetics role?

As a Band 7 Locum Dietitian, you will deliver expert dietetic care with a focus on Tier 3 weight management. Your responsibilities will include conducting detailed dietary assessments, designing and implementing specialised nutrition plans for patients with complex weight management issues, and providing ongoing support and monitoring. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care and contribute to the development of weight management programmes. Effective communication with patients to educate and guide them through their dietary interventions is essential. Additionally, you will maintain accurate patient records, participate in team meetings, and support the continuous improvement of service delivery.

Requirements:

• HCPC registration as a Dietitian
• Right to work in the UK
• Relevant degree in Dietetics or equivalent qualification
• Proven experience in highly specialist dietetic care, particularly in weight management
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and nutritional planning skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Flexibility to work full-time hours
• Knowledge of and experience in managing complex weight management cases
