Rate: Competitive, dependent on experience

Job Overview

Pulse is currently seeking two experienced and compassionate Band 7 Cognitive Behavioural Therapists or Art Therapists to join the CAMHS team at Lewisham Kaleidoscope, part of the South London & Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. These locum roles involve delivering specialist therapeutic interventions to young people and supporting a diverse caseload within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic interventions including CBT, IPT-A, and Art Therapy to children and adolescents
• Independently manage a caseload of young people with complex mental health needs
• Participate in the duty rota twice a month (or more if required) • Attend and contribute to multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings
• Offer clinical support and guidance to colleagues
• Conduct ADHD assessments and apply trauma-informed approaches

Requirements

• Professional qualification in CBT or Art Therapy
• HCPC registration (required for Art Therapists) or equivalent accreditation for CBT Therapists
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within CAMHS
• Proven skills in ADHD assessment and trauma-based interventions
• Strong communication and clinical reasoning abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
