About the role:

The Clinical Physiology team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Respiratory Physiologist to join our team in Scunthorpe. This is a full-time position starting on the 28th of October 2024, with a competitive hourly rate of £27 - £35. The role is initially for a duration of 3 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and departmental needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

You will conduct a range of respiratory tests and assessments. You will interpret test results and provide accurate reports. You will collaborate with medical professionals to develop patient care plans. You will ensure all equipment is maintained and calibrated. You will provide patient education and support.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Essential:
    • Clinical PFT/LFT experience.
    • Relevant qualifications and registration as a Respiratory Physiologist.
    • Experience in a similar role, preferably within the NHS.
  • Desirable:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proven experience as a Respiratory Physiologist.
