We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Physiotherapist specialising in Learning Disabilities to join our client’s team in London. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals with learning disabilities by supporting their physical health, mobility, and overall well-being.

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and deliver tailored physiotherapy interventions that promote independence and improve quality of life for service users.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for assessing the physical needs of individuals with learning disabilities, developing and implementing personalised treatment plans, and delivering physiotherapy interventions in a variety of settings. You will also provide advice and training to carers and support staff, contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings, and maintain accurate clinical records in line with professional standards.

Qualifications and Experience

  • HCPC registration (Health and Care Professions Council)
  • Degree in Physiotherapy
  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Commitment to person-centred care and promoting independence
