Rate:£29.00 – £50.10 per hour

Are you an experienced Band 6 Midwife seeking a fresh challenge? Join our esteemed York Teaching Hospital NHS FT in York, where you'll deliver outstanding care and support to our patients. Benefit from competitive rates and the opportunity to work in a professional and supportive setting.

 

Pay rates range from £29 to £44 per hour on PAYE (Days £29, Nights/Saturdays £37, Sundays/Bank Holidays £44) and £33 to £50.10 per hour under Umbrella (Days £33, Nights/Saturdays £42.10, Sundays/Bank Holidays £50.10)

 

What will your responsibilities be? 

  • Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care to ensure individual needs are met.
  • Administering medications, treatments, and therapies in line with hospital policies and procedures. 
  • Monitoring patients’ conditions, performing clinical observations, and responding to any changes appropriately.
  • Communicating effectively with patients, families, and the wider healthcare team to ensure coordinated, compassionate care.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and ongoing professional development.
  • Promoting a positive, safe, and inclusive environment that enhances patient recovery and wellbeing.

Qualifications and Experiences 

  • NMC Registration (6 months minimum).
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a clinical setting.
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team and effectively manage patient care.
