An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Therapist with Mental Health experience to join our esteemed NHS client’s dynamic team in Beckenham, Kent. This position is available for an immediate start on a short-term contract, offering competitive rates.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will deliver high-quality mental health care to patients, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualised treatment plans, and providing therapeutic interventions. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients. Your responsibilities will include managing complex cases, offering specialist advice, contributing to the enhancement of mental health services, conducting ward rounds and managing ward jobs, reviewing patient cases and providing feedback, attending relevant patient meetings when necessary, and collaborating with internal and external agencies to provide integrated care for patients. Additionally, you will engage with local and national networks to elevate the profile of our centre and ensure all therapeutic approaches are evidence-based and effective.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Full registration with the relevant professional body (e.g., NMC, HCPC)
• Essential experience in mental health
• Forensic experience is preferred
• Commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
