Job Description:
In this locum physiotherapist role, you will deliver high-quality physiotherapy services to elderly patients within acute care settings, with a particular focus on complex discharge planning. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and implement effective treatment plans, and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to optimise patient outcomes.

What will you be doing in this Physiotherapy role?

As Band 6 Locum Physiotherapist Your responsibilities will include managing complex cases, facilitating safe and effective discharge processes, and ensuring continuity of care. Additionally, you will maintain accurate patient records, monitor progress, and adapt treatment plans as required, all while adhering to NHS guidelines and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Must have the right to work in the UK
  • HCPC registration
  • Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
  • Significant experience in elderly acute care settings
  • Expertise in complex discharge planning
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
